Have a ? re Patons super wool - it's discontinued, but I have a ton. Can anyone advise on its washer/dryer performance? I've seen that it can be put in the dryer, but the ball band says dry flat. TIA at allfree!

hi, I have some wool called New Look. Can you please tell me what patterns I can use this wool for?

Years ago I had a cardigan pattern made with Patons Baldwin Ariel Pattern #9060, do you still have the pattern and I would love to make it again, if you still have the pattern could you email it or post it on your site, I look forward to hearing from you Rose Bone

I am knitting the sammy cardigan from Play Days book 4. I am on the hood and have reached the last paragraph'ending with RS facing for next row' but they don't continue. It goes straight into Make Up. Am I supposed to cast off the remaining 40 stitches? I look forward to hearing from you. Mrs Angie Martin

Received email with the Autumn Twist Cardigan and row 19 of the cable pattern seams to be incomplete. All it says is P2 T5B. This question was asked before, but can't find the answer to this question under comments attached to the pattern. Thanks in advance. Barb

I really like the look of the Marsala Pom Pom Hat. Has it also been written for in the round knitting which I prefer.. Thank you.

Please provide guidance on how to read the pattern for the Back 1st Row, size XS/S, for the Oats and Honeycomb Cabled Pullover.br /br /The problem I have is thisbr / br /The pattern instructs me to begin by casting on 111 sts, then to create a 3 ribbing, increasing 23 sts evenly, and to end with a ribbing that is 134 sts across.br /br /The instruction then call for the next row to contain two sequences of Panel Pat B (26 sts), one sequence of Panel Pat C (34 sts)a total of 60 sts. This leaves 74 sts (134-60 = 74) for the two sequences of Panel Pat A, or 37 sts for each sequence.br /br /Unfortunately, the instructions for the 1st row of Panel Pat A (see below) calls for 40 sts, instead of 37 sts, for each sequence.br /br /1st row (RS). (P1. Work 1st row Panel Pat A) 0 (1-0-1-0-1) time. P4 (2-2-2-4-2). Tw2R. P2. (Work 1st row Panel Pat A. P2. Tw2R. P2) 2 (2-3-3-4-4) times.br /br /Please help.br /br /Anh Destattebr /

hi all - I am desperately searching for the pattern that goes with this block. I started it some time ago using Patons Worsted and misplaced the pattern. If anyone can help me find it I will love you forever! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/17732992258248699/

Hi ifaith2, Looks like you're working on something mitered! Please search by "mitered" in the search box on our site. Hopefully a familiar pattern will pop up! Good luck! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

I bought four balls of Paton's Bamboo Silk yarn today at JoAnne's and started my project to find the yarn is defective. I want my money back and from here on will buy my yarn at a yarn shop. I have always trusted Paton's but will not buy more. Janine Kerst

Hi My family and friends are very keen knitter and crocheters. I even have a sister who teaches knitting to others professionally and is repeatedly asked for as she is so so good at knitting and crocheting. However, you have changed your wool and now it does not run as smoothly as it used to across the needle. People are looking elsewhere at different brands now. You are loosing alot of customers. Can you please please change your wool back to the quality it was before.

I wanted to knit the cozy cabled sweater. I bought the Patons yarn and now I don't know how to do the wrap 3 stitch. I have tried youtube and alfreeknitting.com. Two yarn shops in my area have closed. Joann Fabrics have not been able t help. Do you have anyother patterns, in petite size, that would be similar. Dot Fashingbauer

RE: Simple Garter Stitch Scarf After placing the marker before the last 6 sts in Row 11, when you get to Row 13 the marker is no longer before the last 6 stitches, there are only 5 stitches after the marker placed in Row 11. Please explain or help. I love the look of the scarf in the picture and expecially ordered the same Patons yarn to make it. I love the yarn but I am getting a lot of knots. I have bought 25 balls of yarn in the last month for scarves. On the last ball. At least 6 knots and a frayed edge Just letting you know but I love the yarn. .
