Blueberry Bush Summer Shawl

If you're anything like us, you love shawls so much that you mourn them in the summer. Never fear, knitters, because this Blueberry Bush Summer Shawl pattern will give you a light and lacy shawl you can wear all year long. By knitting lace stitches, you'll find yourself with a lightweight, and very pretty, accessory you can use to cover your bare shoulders when going from the hot, humid outside to the chilly, air-conditioned inside. It would also look lovely in white as a wedding shawl.

What does rst mean in the first row? 1st row (WS). Inc 1 st in rst st. K1. 3 sts. I have never seen this abbreviation before. Thank you!

Hi cathart02, this appears to be a typo. We've gone ahead and corrected it to read "first st," not "rst st." We hope this helps! Happy knitting! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

This is a very pretty pattern. It is hard to find a good lace shawl pattern. Will look very nice knit with fine yarn. White or any pastel color will work nicely.
