I had no problem with the pattern as written except for the odd (for me) assignment of even numbers for right side rows and odd numbers for wrong side rows. I rewrote the pattern to have their Row 2 be my Row 1 etc. all the way to Row 20 -- Row 19, then shifted their Row 1 to the top of my pattern to be Row 20. I did leave the first row of WS knit as a setup row after casting on but thereafter refer to it as Row 20. I've attached a photo to make it clearer, I hope. I've completed four pattern repeats so far using Yarn Bee's Rainbow Wrapsody, US5 needles and the results are very pretty.

Hmm, my attempt to upload a .png file showing the chart modification failed several times. I hope my verbal description is clear!

I agree that there is something wrong with the pattern. Starting with Row 7....????? would love to make it also.

I've made this and row 7 is correct as written. The entire pattern is based on an 18 stitch repeat, after you subtract the stitches outside of the brackets, you are always working on the middle 72 stitches, 72 divided by 18 is 4, so the information in the brackets will be repeated either 4, 6 or 8 times depending which row you are on. I know this is really late and the pattern may have been updated since your original comment, hope it helps someone. Happy knitting.
