again elegance and style in a deceptively simple design this is on my spring 2017 birthday list for a young lady who is as elegant as the cardigan a perfect match

Re Sara's Silk Cardigan This pattern shows 7 sizes from XS to 4/5 Extra Large, and I am a size Medium, but the instructions are for 6 sizes, 99 (107-119-131-147-167). I don't know which of these are for the medium size. If it shows 7 sizes shouldn't there be instructions for 7 sizes not 6? I just bought all my yarn and now I don't know what to do. Please help.

If you read the actual sizing info, it states that the xs s have the same cast on and the same finished measurements are the same according to the chart provided. I agree that they should have provided the cast on info for each size but since they haven't you can always look at the gauge to determine what to do. The gauge here is 21 stitches per 4 inches, so the cast on for medium is 107 stitches, the formula is this add up the cast on stitch amounts for each piece in your size, divide by the gauge stitches per inch , so in this case 225 divided by 21 equals 10.71 multiply by 4 equals 42 inches, the finished bust indicated medium will be 39 inches, so this accounts for the different stitch pattern from gauge to garment and finishing. I know this is late, hope it helps someone, Happy knitting

Thnak you, this will helps me a lot.
