Pin garment pieces to measurements and cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry.

Right Front Placket: With RS of work facing, MC and smaller needles, pick up and knit 15 sts across center front cast off edge.
Proceed in garter st until work measures length to fit up placket opening to neck edge, sewing in place as you work. Cast off knitways (WS). Place marker on center st of cast off edge.

Left Front Placket: With WS of work facing, MC and smaller needles, pick up and knit 15 sts across center front cast off edge (picking up into edge from Right Front Placket). Work to correspond to Right Front Placket. Sew shoulder seams.

Collar: With WS of work facing, MC and smaller needles, beg at marker on Right Front Placket, pick up and knit 8 sts across Placket, 16 sts up right front neck edge and 4 sts down right back neck edge. K27 (27-25-29-29) from Back st holder. Pick up and knit 4 sts up left back neck edge, 16 sts down left front neck edge and 8 sts across Left Front Placket to marker. 83 (83-81-85-85) sts. Work 4 ins [10 cm] in garter st, ending with WS of Collar facing. Cast off knitways (WS).

Sew side and sleeve seams, reversing sleeve seam at markers for cuff turnback. Sew in sleeves.

Beg and ending on a 2nd row, work 7½ ins [19 cm] in (K2. P2) ribbing as given for Front. Cast off loosely in ribbing. Place marker on Collar seam 3¾ ins [9.5 cm] from cast off edge.
Sew left back raglan and Collar seam, reversing seam at marker. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Seed stitch - v-neck - and a collar - great mix and again options one can knit it with stripes, as designed, then knit another without for variety in wardrobe, even knit the collar and placket in the one colour..

Love the seed stitch pullover sweater.
