Knit Baby Booties to Die For

Okay, so you've heard the news: you're pregnant, or someone close to you is pregnant. If you're anything like us, your first thought is "how much can I knit in nine months?" The answer is: a lot!

Baby knitting patterns are so perfect for the nine-month time crunch because they're so tiny and work up quickly. Baby booties especially work well for a busy, distracted mommy-to-be who has a million things to worry about but still wants to get in her favorite hobby. We have a ton of baby booties for you.

These baby booties are divided into three sections: one for girls, one for boys, and one for both. No matter what the sex of your baby, any of these baby booties are going to be adorable, so don't let it stop you if you don't know your baby's gender yet, or if you know it but it doesn't coincide with your favorite baby slippers pattern.

Whether you choose to go boy or girl, bright or pastel, simple or crazy, there's a knitting for baby option for you. All of these patterns would be great alongside a baby hat pattern and baby blanket pattern!

Baby Booties for Girls

These booties are perfect for girls. A ton of them are a beautiful pink color for just the right hint of girliness to any baby outfit, and others are shaped like classic women's shoes so your little girl can be designer right out of the womb!

Protect your little one's feet from dangerous kicking and flailing, and keep them looking adorable while you're at it. But why stop at one pattern? Make your little girl a ton of adorable, feminine little booties, because every girl needs more than one pair of shoes!

Baby Booties for Boys

Booties aren't just a girl's game. In fact, boys can look absolutely cuddle-worthy in baby booties, too! When you're looking for overtly boyish booties, you're looking for simpler, more streamlined designs, preferably in blue or green.

Luckily, we have a bunch of options. Moms of boys, you're not married to these baby booties; you can always pick out your favorite pair from the unisex section, or from the girl's section and knit it in a more boyish color. No matter what, your boy's bound to look precious.

Baby Booties for Anyone

If you just found out you're pregnant and have no way of knowing the sex yet, or if you don't care to know the sex and want to keep it a surprise, these are the baby booties for you.

These booties also make the perfect knit accessories for when you don't want to enforce meaningless gender stereotypes on your little one. They're all cute and would look adorable on any baby, but they're not all simple; we have a couple of unique unisex baby booties designs, too.

Always on the lookout for easy to make and quick items that I can use as gifts for baby showers or for welcome home baby gifts. I have always generally crocheted my past booties, but found this great collection and see that it will be a great link to save for future reference.
