Free Knit Scarf Patterns: Spiced Plum Scarf

One of the difficulties in selecting the right patterns for knitting during the holidays is that many designs can be too time consuming.  That's why the Knitter's Gift Guide features patterns like the Spiced Plum Scarf.  Made with chunky yarn and a simple structure, you'll be able to turn out Christmas presents like there's no tomorrow.  If you're hoping to make this scarf more masculine, leave off the flowers and select darker colors, like black, brown or hunter green.  One of the best parts of knitting a scarf, or any knitting pattern for that matter, is that you can easily customize it to make it just as unique as you are.  Another definite benefit to knitting scarves as gifts is that it's easy to adjust your scarf to your intended recipient. Scarves are generally one-size-fits-all, and you can apply that attitude towards your knitting.

Great sight. I'm happy to join you!

I agree with the previous commentor. I like straight needle knitting over circular. It's the way I was originally taught and it's just easier for me. Thus ebook is another one of your winners. The projects appear very easy and don't seem to take much yarn and there's a great variety!

These patterns all look like they are quick to make. That is so nice to find when you have a lot of people to make gifts for and are pressed for time. It is also a great find when you are preparing a craft table for an event. I like the fact that there are patterns for fingerless gloves that only require straight needles. My hands dont always cooperate with double pointed needles.

Thank you this freebie, there are some great patterns in here I especially like the tilting blocks hat which is really easy to make and knits up much quicker than I was expecting, it made a great quick gift for my cousins new baby. The patterns are easy to follow and the charts are good to help you when making the gloves. I would recommend for those new to knitting if you want to get started on some simple hats and fingerless mitts.

Thank you

Thank you for all free things
