Inspired by the colors of the sea, this Breezy Tank is the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe. This is a great knit tank top pattern for anyone wanting to learn how to knit lace as it showcases the beautiful drape of silk yarn in an intricate fashion. Silk can be an intimidating material to work with, but this tutorial shows you how to knit a shirt that works with the yarn, making it a great first experience with silk. Show off this lacy top at your next beach outing.

Link worked for me. Check for yourself.

The silk yarn is essential to this project; it doesn't sound as if you could substitute anything else. Unfortunately, in the pattern the link for the yarn doesn't work.

Gorgeous!
