Classic Vintage Pullover

If you're looking for some vintage free sweater knitting patterns, you're looking for this Classic Vintage Pullover. This style of sweater just doesn't look bad on anybody. The Mad Men style is in right now, and it's surprisingly easy to emulate. If you pair this sweater with a long skirt, you've got an easy-peasy '50s style outfit. This pullover would especially look great with a curled bob and bright red lipstick to take that vintage look to the next level. No more shuffling through your mom's closet to achieve that old-fashioned style anymore!

This sweater is such a classic 40s style and was usually made out of horribly itchy yarn, I always wondered how anyone could wear it. The style is beautiful though and I can imagine it knit in a soft merino or alpaca blend. It looks to be a DK yarn with the size 5 needles and 6 stitches to the inch. Be sure to swatch to get the right gauge.
