This is a really cute hat. I will definitely be trying this one, but I would love to make it is child size. The pattern only has adult size. I could try adjusting it according to gauge, or maybe I will just go down a yarn weight and needle size. Does anyone know if the designer will be releasing a child size version?

This is an adorable hat! I'd never guess that the ears and body are all one piece the way the ears are made by sewing two corners of the hat together is so clever and easy. Seed stitch is so pretty and neat-looking and in my opinion, it's one of the basic stitches every knitter should know by heart. If I had a little girl I'd definitely make this as part of her Halloween cat costume.
