Do you have tons of half-used skeins of yarn?  Ever wonder how much yarn is left or if it will be enough to start a new project?  Never fear!  Just use this handy device to figure out exactly how much yarn you have, down to the last yard.

What's particularly great about this counter, created by Boye from the Simplicity Creative Group, is that it does its job without being too difficult to use.  Simply adhere its suction cup bottom to a table (or any flat surface) and you're ready to start dragging yarn through the counter.  As you strand your yarn through, the counter does the rest and keeps track of yardage via an easy-to-read display.  Every avid knitter needs to own one of these along with their own row counter.

This is a great item! Who comes up with these fabulous products! I'm always wondering if I have enough yarn to complete a project. There's no way that I'm breaking out a ruler or measuring tape to find out. It's be more trouble than it's worth, most of the time at least. This yardage counter is a brillant idea. I'd like to know how accurate it's supposed to be.

Would this be something that Michael's would carry?

you mean i can my stash by hand. Wonderful!!

I have a large stash of leftover yarn. This product would be great to calculate the actual yardage for a new project!

I'm interested in buying this...where is it available, and what is the price?

Hi Knitpicky1! The Boye Yardage Counter is available at most major retailers, including Amazon. Hope this helps! -- Editor of AllFreeKnitting

how and where can I get this???

Sounds like a really useful tool. Boye always makes a great product. If I don't win it I will buy it along with the Boye stitch counter.
