I really like the look of this tunic but I find the instructions very confusing. It does use centimeters as measurements but that is not the confusing part. Many measuring tapes are in centimeters now. It is the wording of the instructions It is telling you to do a ridge of garter stitch and then going into another stitch pattern at the same time. It is unfortunate. I would have made it for a friend's grand daughter.

I have to agree with you, the issue seems to be that it has been poorly translated from another language and incorrectly in some places.
