Another adorable child's sweater - wish it came in other sizes to make my life easier as this would be a great casual top with jeans or a skirt for a child in school or on a class trip to a nature centre but it should not be too difficult to enlarge the pattern (says she optimistically) Reminds me of the old CGIT uniforms --

How cute and perfect for a boy or a girl depending on the colors used and of course the boy. Its such a simple pattern too. I would be tempted to add some pretty star shaped appliques or buttons to the corners of that lovely collar.

Never heard from the designer. I added a few inches here there and managed to come up with a larger size that fits my older grand daughter.

So sorry to respond 5 months late. I don't look at this site often unless I plan to knit one of their posted pattern. Since the original pattern instruction is one knitted piece from front to back, it is not too difficult to increase for an 8 yr old. I use other 8 yr old pull over patterns to adjust stitches. I remedied the head area with a piece of triangular piece to make it less big. Hope this helps.

Would you be so kind as to give me directions for a Size 4 and Size 6 in this middy? I have two diff size grandkids. I bought exact yarn specified. Have a hunch it will turn out small for my size 2 grandkid - maybe? Thanks.
