How to Knit an Easy Baby Blanket

  1. Co mult of 4+8 sts.

  2. Start with a garter stitch border - knit 10 rows.

  3. Row 11: S1, knit across row.

  4. Row 12: S1, k4, purl to last 5sts, k5.

  5. Row 13: S1, k4, * k2, p2, rep from * to last 7sts, k7.

  6. Row 14: S1, k4, * p2, k2, rep from * to last 3sts, k3.

  7. Row 15; S1, knit across row.

  8. Row 16: S1, k4, purl to last 5sts, k5.

I'll admit it - the yarn color is really what drew me in. I've yet to knit anything other than a scarf, but this seems like the perfect project to try next!

This is such a cute pattern. I have a skein of lovely baby yarn I've been meaning to turn into a blanket, but I hadn't found just the right pattern yet. I love this, and will definitely be using it!
