"This knitting project is just as beautiful as it is functional you guys! The trendy, chunky yarn makes it a perfect cold weather bag, yet the open mesh near the top makes it just right for the spring and summer months. Because it’s made with a super bulky yarn, the bag works up fairly quickly and the varied stitches gives it a beautiful texture. The natural tones are sure to match any wardrobe. Enjoy your bag!"

I would like to try this one, but will have to figure out a substitute for the yarn. You can only purchase the yarn in bulk, if you have a business ID and tax exemption number. There isn't even a ravelry listing for it.

I love this! I've always wanted to knit a bag, but I'm a bit scared to try. But this is such a simple one that I think I'll have to try it!

I like this tote bag pattern, especially since it's knitted in the round so you only have to sew the bottom closed and attach the handle to one side. I also like it because it's eco-friendly and easy to do. With the super bulky/super chunky yarn and large needles it should work up quickly.
