Knitting Needle Size10 or 6 mm, Circular Knitting Needles

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Gauge14 sts = 4" [10 cm]; 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.

Finished SizeFinished Throw measures 44" [112 cm] x 53" [135 cm]

  • Susan Bates® Circular Knitting Needle: 6mm [US 10], 29" [74 cm] long
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle

Instructions

Throw is worked back and forth in rows. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts.

Throw

Cast on 160 sts.
Knit 1 row on wrong side.
Rows 1-8: *K5, p5; repeat from * across.
Rows 9-16: *K10, p10; repeat from * across.
Repeat Rows 1-16 until piece measures 53" [135 cm] from beginning, end with Row 7.
Knit 1 row on wrong side.
Bind off.

Finishing

Weave in ends.
