It looks like a nice shawl, the good thing seems to be that the pattern is easy and it has lacy look. The printable version gives pattern diagram for the border but the key for the diagram is hidden under the name of the website. I wish if this problem can be solved, it will help to follow the border pattern.

It's really interesting and I have just the yarn for this...going to try it out as my next project.

I have never been a shawl-person, but this Marigold Lace one really caught my eye. I think it's because of the shawl color atop the black background. Then too, the shawl is worn high around the neck. This is not a shawl which, has many open areas in the design. I have suffered a real trauma, and keeping both my neck and my shoulders away from drafts/dampness is a must. AllFreeKnitting, I think you just started a new craze for me! haha
