"Use up your yarn leftovers to brighten up your breakfast table with these make cute little egg warmers. These egg warmers are knitted completely in garter stitch with a few short rows for shaping and an embroidered face. A small project such as this is also great for learning a new technique like short rows. provisional cast on or grafting in garter stitch. The pattern is available in written form as well as in a chart."

These are so cute and would be fab for Cadbury creme egg cosies at Easter as they make a change from bunnies and chicks. The pattern is really easy to knit and there are both written instructions and a chart to follow so it is your preference as to which you use. As they take minimal yarn it is a cute way to use up your leftovers. And if you didn't want to make egg cosies you could stuff them with stuffing and lavender and sew up the bottom to make cute little scented sachets.

These little kitty egg warmers are super cute! This looks like a great stash buster pattern too. I could see these kitties making a surprise appearance at the breakfast table or on an egg in an Easter basket. They would also make a cute gift for anyone who likes cats.
