"Slip stitches make colorwork easy on this simple dishcloth. Use contrasting colors, or go scrappy different results. This dishcloth is one of 48 free knitting patterns with photo or video tutorials in the Knitted Kitchen Blog Hop: Learn A New Stitch Dishcloth Series 2017. Skills used Basic knitting skills: cast on, knit, purl, slip stitch, bind off Knitting flat in rows Skill Level Easy Finished Size 8″ (20.5 cm) square. Materials Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton (100% mercerized cotton, 3.5 oz/100 g/186 yd/170 m) – 1 skein each in 98 Ecru (CA) and 142 Rose (CB), or approximately 34 yd (31 m) in each of 2 colors any medium weight, cotton yarn. US Size 7/4.5 mm knitting needles, or any size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Gauge 18 sts = 4″ (10 cm) in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this project."

Well, here I go again. I have a folder full of dishcloth patterns on my computer and every time I see another cool one, I add it. If I would knit them all, I would have enough to last a long life time! But I'm going to keep this one anyway. I love this stitch! It's almost too pretty to wash dishes with.

I highly recommend the Knitted Kitchen Blog Hop if you would like to learn some new stitches, or learn new ways of using stitches you already know. I've been following the Blog Hop for most of the year and this was just one of the really great patterns they've had.
