Basket of Love Baby Blanket

Basket of Love Baby Blanket

Wrap your little one in a Basket of Love Blanket for optimal coziness. Only knit baby blankets this soft and comfy can keep baby calm throughout the night. New mothers know what a challenge it can be to keep their little one satisfied, but thankfully they don't need to be a knitting guru to do just that. Even those just beginning knitting can manage this simple knit-and-purl pattern. Being possibly one of the cutest free knitting patterns for baby blankets out there, it certainly helps that anyone can knit it.

So cute, and great for beginners, too!

This precious little blanket will knit up super fast, with the big needles and only two skeins of yarn. It would be a perfect shower gift for the parents to be and likely to become a favorite cuddle blanket of the new little person. The simple 8 row pattern is easy to memorize and it creates a lovely texture.
