Endless Cables Knit Throw
Looking for an easy knit throw pattern that is also chic? This Endless Cables Knit Throw is a great beginner knitting pattern and is such an easy DIY blanket!
From the Blogger: "This stylish super chunky knit throw looks like one of the expensive knit blankets that are out in stores right now! This works up really fast with super bulky yarn and big knitting needles. It is an easy pattern as it only uses simple knit and purl stitches. The cables aren't difficult at all and there are pictures to help you as you go."

The yarn is actually a #7 jumbo yarn, that has been discontinued.

This is a pretty cable knit throw. However, the design calls for nine skeins of Lion Brand Color Clouds yarn, which at about $6 a skein makes an expensive throw. I'm sure it's not as expensive as actually buying a manufactured throw, but it's still outside my budget. I'll use maybe three strands of worsted weight yarn together instead.

This is beautiful. I love cables. This pattern is easier than the one I have been using. For some reason cables look rich and just comfy. I will give this a try when I am finished with my other one. Some of these on line are over the top in price. It is great to have the patterns and others opinions in order to make it the way you want it and save lots of money.
