This is what I call an aspirational hat. I was really excited till I read the comments that there's only a chart provided. Just checked and still no written instructions on the original website. Will keep checking back to see if they are provided in the future.

I love this pattern, but the hat is very large. Next time, will use a smaller needle and finer wool.

I vote for a "no chart" version of this pattern. I am not a chart knitter. I could easily do this pattern, if only each cable pattern was written out.

@had628 8289268, Go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. I hope this helps! --editors of AllFreeKnitting

Printed 12 pages, most unnecessary. What a waste. Never had this problem with other knitting sites.

Once you have copied the pattern into a word document, simply go back and delete the comments, etc that you do not want to print before hitting the PRINT command. No different than deleting original text

@aprilpt 6276793, I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. We are simply a review site that finds and reviews great patterns from around the Internet. We are not the original pattern designers. We suggest you try contacting the pattern designer directly for help. The designer is specified in the byline. We apologize for any inconvenience, --editors of AllFreeKnitting

Please drop the chart and write the pattern in words! I'm very dyslexic and these pattern charts mean nothing to me but I am sure I can fiollow the written directions for this beautiful hat. I am proficient at cables. I've just never seen this cobination before. Thanks!

Hi tatter too, You have to print the pattern from the page with the full written instructions on it. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Could not print this pattern. What a shame. It's a really neat one.

I cannot download the instructions for the 14 cable hat pattern. Jeanette

I am unable to download directions.
