These is a style that never seems to bore you, even dough Im not familiar with the technique and it does seem a bit hard to keep all those colors and pattern straight, the fact is that its a classic style. Can anyone give me feedback as to how hard can it be to begin working Fair Isle? or maybe point a beginners pattern for this style where I can maybe learn the technique.

I love Fair Isle and it is much easier to do than it looks!!!

I would love to try FI knitting. All of these designs are works of art!

Love the patterns in FairIsle work.

Never knitted FairIsle before but am inspired to try! Thank you xxxx

I have been considering trying to learn Fair Isle as it was my mom's favorite and I have many beautiful sweaters made by her in Fair Isle. I would like to make my grandchildren sweaters in Fair Isle so one day they can say the same!

There are so many gorgeous patterns taht it is hard to choose which one to start with. Very detailed book with great patterns and tips.

I feel cheated by the fact that although I have been a loyal user of this site for quite awhile, because I do not live in the U.S.A. I cannot partake in any of the competitions. The competition I am referring to is to receive a copy of the knitting book "200 Fair Isle Motifs". Why, when I can download patterns & information of items this information is freely available but to be a partaker of a competition I am barred as I live in Australia. You put on your site places to buy things from that are here in Australia but we cannot participate in any competitions you may be holding. This does not seem fair.
