How to Knit the Mistake Stitch

Mistake Stitch Knitting Tutorial

  1. Cast on a multiple of 4 stitches plus 3 stitches. 

  2. Row 1: knit 2, pearl 2 and repeat until you only have 3 stitches left on your needle. 
    Knit 2 and pearl 1 for your last three stitches. 

  3. Flip your work to the wrong side. 

  4. Row 2: knit 2, pearl 2, and repeat until you only have 3 stitches left.
    On your last 3 stitches, knit 2 and pearl 1. 

  5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you have finished your project.
