Knitting Storage Solutions
As most knitters will tell you, it's incredibly easy to buy new yarn and knitting supplies, even when you don't have specific free knitting patterns in mind.  Here's what usually happens: as you walk into a yarn store, a section of yarn catches your eye.  Everything about this yarn — the texture, the color, the sheen — resonates with you; it speaks to you;  it whispers your name — until you suddenly find six skeins of it in your shopping bag.  Before you know it, you've left the shop with three times the amount of yarn you intended on buying. While there's nothing wrong with the powerful draw of inspiration, it does mean that yarn can pile up quite quickly, especially if you're still searching for the right easy knit patterns to use with them.  The key is to create a space for everything you've bought.  Once the yarn or knitting supplies have an assigned home, you'll know just where they should go each and every time.  To help get you started, we've compiled a list of great organizational tips for knitters inside this eBook.  You'll find articles on how to store knitting needles, smaller knitting notions and most importantly, how to store and organize your yarn stash.  While it's going to take some grunt work in the beginning, the process is definitely worth it in the end when you find yourself easily able to locate the products you need in hardly any time at all.

With spring right around the corner, there's no better time than now to start tackling your unruly yarn stash.  With the easy-to-follow tips and tricks in the free eBook, you'll find yourself in a more organized state in just a matter of weeks!  While it takes a little time and patience, once you have a system figured out for both your yarn and knitting notions, you'll rest easy knowing each item has a place where it belongs.  Just imagine it: what could be better than walking into your craft room and finding yarn neatly stored, labeled and organized by weight?  Chances are you'll feel even more inspired to start knitting and creating new wearables for yourself, your friends and your family.

Simple Knitting Patterns: The Littlest Purse Ever
Grab your favorite leftover yarn scraps and use this free knitting pattern to whip up some charming mini bags.  What I love most about these purses (aside from their miniature button clasps) is that they're full of versatility.  Turn your tiny totes into a keychain for your knitting friends.  Add them on top of presents for an extra touch of personality.  No matter how you use the The Littlest Purse Ever pattern, it's a simple way to use up some of your yarn stash that hasn't seen the light of day in months.

As this e-book seems to be directed to yarn hoarders, I would have expected tips on how to store and find your yarns. Unfortunately, there are just 13 small tips on this issue, less than two pages. And some of them are not even helpful. So I'd like to submit my own tip Make a list (preferably in a spreadsheet program) of all your yarns, including manufacturer, name, composition, making-up (ball, hank, whatever), color (name and number, if applicable), yardage per weight-unit and date of purchase. Then add a column for the place of storage. You will find this very helpful for going through your stash in a minimum of time.

Great idea! Let me add another column to your spreadsheet the intended project. I have more than a few bundles of yarn that were purchased for a specific project... but I can't remember what it was. (The worst was when a box of yarn arrived, and I had no idea why I ordered it.)
