This would be so much fun to knit and so much fun to wear and could be made in so many combinations - a bouquet of blues, or browns, and I like the idea of the black, tan, and ivory, and for my blue-eyed blonde with a zest for life the colours shown.

This pattern only comes in one size, but lucky me it's mine! This doesn't have to be knock your eyes out bright. It's really a simple sweater in color block intarsia. A perfect beginner intarsia pattern. I can totally see this in color blocks of black, tan, and ivory. Make it longer without the ribbing at the bottom and it would be a really great tunic over leggings!

Thanks for your calming comments! ) I was just about to write this one off as too wild for me, but using calmer colors would totally change it. I have a question, though. If you made it without the bottom ribbing, how would you keep it from rolling up? I wonder if a seed stitch border or something like that would suit the style?
