Patchwork Slippers
Patchwork Slippers

"A delightful design – these slippers are easy to make. They fit your feet snugly and best of all, they are very portable. Just fold them up and take them on holidays. An ideal pattern for beginners as the construction is made solely of squares. The sizing of the slippers is altered depending on how many stitches you cast on and how many rows you work for each square. Pattern is for ladies sizes UK 4-7. Knitted with double knitting yarn on size 3.75mm needles."

What an unusual pattern. When the pattern said easy I questioned that until I read it. Yes a beginner could make these slippers. It is just making squares and sewing them together. It is a good scrap buster as well. I can't wait to make these. I love slippers and it seems I can never have enough. Plus like the pattern says they are compact and I can bring them when I travel. Thank you.

That's a unique pattern for house slippers. I am rather lazy when it comes to putting pieces together, so I would probably figure out how to knit the strips then sew them together. This will be a welcome change from the slippers I have been knitting so I am anxious to see how it works.

This is a very interesting way to construct slippers. I haven't seen a pattern like this one before. No fancy heel shaping work, just textured squares seamed together. Love the button accent too! Slippers are fun because you can make them in whatever colors you like, or happen to have on hand.

I love these! My feet tend to get too warm in traditional fluffy slippers, but I bet these would be just the right weight for me. Can't wait to try them!
