Knitted Vest Patterns: Simply Elegant Vest

Simply Elegant Vest

If you've been searching for an effortless pattern that's still chic and cutting edge, let us introduce you to the Simply Elegant Vest from Windy Valley Muskox.  Dress it up with your best trousers and a lightweight blouse or go casual and pair it with your favorite t-shirt and jeans.  No matter which route you take, you'll love owning such a versatile piece of clothing.  The best part?  This knitted vest pattern is a cinch to make.  Even if you're not experienced in sweater knitting, this stockinette-stitch piece is a great pattern to start with.  Plus, it's made with Qiviut yarn, which comes from the undercoat of the Muskox.  This means, this vest will most likely be the sofest thing you've ever touched.  Qiviut is naturally soft and eight times warmer than wool.  Because of its warmth, this sweater vest can be sported in a variety of seasons.  I don't know about you, but I'm ready to make one!

Knitted Afghan Pattern: Spiral Lapghan

Spiral Lapghan

If you've been knitting for a while now, chances are you've seen your fair share of free knit afghan patterns.  After a while, each pattern begins to melt into the next one, making them all unrecognizable and bland.  Thankfully the team at Red Heart joined forces with the talented designer Kristin Omdahl to create this eye-catching knit afghan patterns like this one.  Aside from the fabulous color, the real fun of this design is in its construction.  Begin your design knitting from the center and then work your way outwards until it's your desired size.  To finish this gorgeous home accent, you only need four balls of yarn.  Have fun mixing and matching the colors to create your own knitted afghan masterpiece.

Thanks for your comment. Don't forget to share!

I can't wait to make the Sapphire Caplet!!!!! Thank You!

What's with this site? Can't download the pattern I selected. Very disappointed in this site.

Hi there! The patterns in this eBook can only be accessed if you download the free eBook PDF. Make sure Adobe is installed on your computer if you do not already (it is free). For downloading instructions, please see Adobes website here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and have a great day!

How do I sign up for the contest?

Thanks for the ebook. Downloaded it fine.

So many complaints about free stuff. Had no problems downloading and love this website! Feel FREE to go to other websites folks- but don't complain about something you didn't waste a penny on! The nice people that set up this site do it so we don't have to spend $5 a pattern elsewhere! Show some gratitude.

I plan to knit the lapghan! Just click on the book title, then look for the window that asks if you want to open or save. I opened it so I could look are the patterns. Then, just save it on your computer where you know you will find it. I have a folder for Handicrafts, with (inside that folder) separate folders for knit pattern, crochet pattern, and sewing. Try again, you won't be disappointed.

So disappointed that you are offering this free pattern for Blue Jeans and Moonbeams and cannot access. I won't be using your site anymore.

extremely disappointed - and it seems everyone is having the same downloading issue. lovely pattern but there are so many gorgeous shawl patterns I will not be back to AllFreeKnitting.com

Hi Suz, What issue are you experiencing with the eBook? Assuming you have the more up-to-date version of Adobe Reader, you should be able to download the book and access the projects for free. Please let me know if there's something I can assist you with. Thank you!

I am very disappointed in All Free Knitting! Why post a 'free' pattern if I can't get to it. I won't do your download because I did it once and ended up having to clear junk out of my computer. One more change then I scratch your website!!

Seriously - Don't link a FREE pattern if we CAN'T download- too frustrating

Hi Denise, The patterns are all free; you just have to download the eBook above. The eBook itself is also free. I hope this helps. Thanks!

Having problems downloading Blue Jeans and Moon Beams shawl can you help me with this?

Hi Dianne, You can download that pattern inside this free eBook! I believe it's on page 31. Hope that helps!

I am also having a problem download Blue Jeans and Moonbeans shawl. Very disappointed in this.

Hi Flemke, You can download that pattern inside this free eBook! I believe it's on page 31. Hope that helps!

The patterns are lovely, however, I do not care for the sheer volume of advertising included with the e book! It is a very large download at 7.7 mb for a pdf!

I downloaded an ebook a year ago and have yet to find it on my computer. Thank you, but no thank you. I just wanted to see A pattern, but I guess not.

Wow! Just wow, you seem to be blaming this website for your own ineptitude-how can it possibly be the website's fault that YOU failed to save something to your computer properly! The website does not determine how or where things are saved on your computer that is down to you and to come on here and leave such an insulting comment is just over the top!

When I download a file, I do not click on "download." I click on "open," and then click on "file" in the upper left corner of the screen. Then I can save it to the folder I want, and can re-name it if I want to make it easier to find.

Has anyone done the Sandia jacket? The directions need correcting...right front says "next RS row k, 803 sts then work rem sts.". Help please! Thanks, Sewinglady

Same here...I agree with the bait a switch comment.

Pattern does not come up. How annoying. Bait and switch, I think as something else pops right up it isn't free.

Hi Hellohonor, The pattern is included inside the eBook here, which is also free. Hope that helps!

I am trying to get patter for the Saphire Shawlette, but it doesn't come up....just the fashion show ebook. Is it in that?

Horseyfolks The pattern for the Saphire Shawlette IS in the e-book. It's a 1 line pattern - cast on 60 stitches on size 10 needles, k1, yo k2tog I believe is all it is - just keep repeating that row - but you'd best check the pattern - I believe it's the last one listed in the e-book.
