This lacy scarf pattern has a gorgeous color palette of rich reds and chocolate browns, perfect for adding a little warmth and brightness to a dreary winter day. The December Sunrise Scarf is an easy project for knitters who are looking to get their feet wet with lace knitting. This scarf looks great with color-changing yarn, but the pattern is a classic that will look lovely with solid color worsted weight yarn as well.

I had no problem getting the pattern to come up. I love this stitch, and I especially love the color. Has anyone made this yet? I'd love to see your work. Did you use the same yarn? I can see making this in many colors to wear with different outfits. If I had a child in school this would be a great teacher gift.

We have a second one starting out who will soon want to try this one. Thank you to the editors and to the designers who remember that not everyone is as skilled and experienced as they
