"A little bit of luxury to keep you warm through the tail end of the winter. A pair of lacy mittens in a yummy alpaca silk fingering weight yarn. Warmer than sheep’s wool Alpaca yarn is also hypoallergenic and does not contain lanolin. The mitens are knitted in the round from the cuff up, with a shaoed gusset Full pattern available in the February issue of Knotions along with a matching scarf Written and charted instructions included in the pattern."

Love the open work pattern on the cuff of these mittens. The ones shown are worked in alpaca yarn and is hypoallergenic. Much better and much softer than the regular acrylic yarns on the market. There is also a pattern for a matching scarf and the set together would make an awesome gift for someone.

I really wanted to make these but the link is broken. It takes me to an error message. Not only that but it also mentions that the full pattern can be found in a bck issue of a knitting magazine. So I won't be making these any time soon that's for sure.
