This cute little pattern caught my eye. Just what I need for my coffee cup on my desk! Although it looks great in red, I think it would look nice in almost any solid color cotton. Looks like a great way to use up some of my leftover bits in my stash. Pinned this one!

As the commenters below have said, this is an excellent beginner pattern. From here you can move onto dishcloths, then scarves, then hats, then...who knows where? -)

Never thought I could knit a pattern - this gives me confidence to do more complicated patterns. I made several for friends! Thanks for the sweet pattern.

I made this! (Rank beginner here) Now I'm going to make a green one for St. Patrick's Day, then... Maybe I'll try to make a shamrock design (unless you post one first, hint, hint). Thanks for the pattern and website!
