Simple Gold Leaf Hat

This Simple Gold Leaf Hat is a great hat knitting pattern for beginners. While the gold leaf and silver leaf yarn combo, plus the pom pom, makes this hat interesting and unique, it's still an easy knitting pattern. Knitted flat and sewn up the back, this free knitting pattern also doesn't require circular needles, so you can just knit it with the needles you already have on hand. The super bulky yarn also makes this knit hat pattern turn out cozy and snuggly, which is perfect for keeping chilly winds at bay.

This hat is amazing! I love the look of the yarn, with the silver and gold flecks in it. The pattern itself is very easy to follow, and looks like it will work up really quickly. I have never seen a hat pattern that is worked flat, so that will be a nice change!

I really like the gold flecks scattered throughout the hat. If the light catches the yarn just right, you will have a truly stunning effect.

I like the basic pattern and that you use straight needles for this pattern. I find them easier to work with than circular. I'd change the yarn, though, I'm not big on metallics.
