The Kate Spade-Inspired Chunky Stripe Beanie is a stylish slouch hat that adds a laid back vibe to any outfit. This easy knitting pattern features graphic black and white stripes and a sweet pom pom detail. The best part is this attractive knit hat also has a matching pocket scarf. You can knit yourself a matching set of on-trend winter wearables. If you're new to knitting, there's no reason to let the stripes intimidate you, because you just carry the yarn you're not working with up the back. Give this knitted beanie a try and you will not be disappointed with its style and versatility.

The pom on this hat makes it fun and whimsical, but the black and white color scheme keep it from looking childish. I have some bulky black and white yarn in my stash that is practically screaming to be used for this hat.

This is a great pattern and the slouchy style is very stylish. With bulky/chunky yarn and bigger needles it should work up quickly. I love that there are no seams to sew up the back! The only thing I might change is to do more than one row of ribbing on the bottom edge to help keep it from curling up.

I love the idea of making a Kate Spade inspired hat! The white and black stripes on the hat add flair, while the pom pom makes it cute. It is sure to go well with all outfits. I also like that it does not have a seam because it is knit on circular needles.

This hat pattern is a classic. It's good practice in basic colorwork, too. Nice that it comes with a matching scarf pattern - great for a gift set for next year.
