The Dustweaver Seed Stitch Hat is a beautiful free knit hat pattern you don't want to pass up. If you love seed stitch or simply want to practice your technique, this is the free knitting pattern for you. The best part is you only need one skein of yarn in order to create this impressive design. The fluffy pompom on the top of the hat really brings it all together and adds a touch of whimsy to your project. Of course, you can choose to skip the pompom and go with a more classic design. Either way, you will be immensely happy with this seed stitch knit hat pattern.

I love the texture of seed stitch and really like it in this hat. It stands out nicely from the rib of the brim. I have just the skein of pink yarn that I've been waiting for the correct pattern. I think this is it!

The use of chunky yarn and larger needles means this should be a quick project, while the seed stitch changes the texture from regular hats. This will be a fun hat to knit and give.

This looks like a really nice pattern to try. With the super bulky/super chunky yarn and little bit larger needles it should work up quickly. The seed stitch gives it some texture compared to simple stockinette stitch and a little more patterning than just garter stitch. Cute with the pompom too!
