If you haven't worked with a lace pattern before, this is very simple yet creates a lovely effect. The designer used two colors of self patterning yarn and switched between them every 6 rows, giving the throw a pretty variegated look. You could substitute solid colors if you wanted a stronger striped appearance.

Love the colors and the design. I think I will make it in white, pink and a multi-color. Just downloaded the pattern. It took a bit for it to bring the page up. I just made a scarf with somewhat the same pattern but with a basket weave.
