Entrelac Baby Blanket

By: Nikki from

Don't be intimidated by entrelac knitting instructions. This easy Entrelac Baby Blanket is made with simple knit and purl stitches - that's all!  Despite the beginner stitches, the textured diamond shapes that you create result in a pattern that looks surprisingly intricate. Babies and children alike will adore the feel of the bamboo yarn, so infrequently seen in baby blanket patterns. Free knitting patterns for babies always produce adorable pieces your little ones will love, but this one is so cute you might want to keep it all for yourself!

What is the finished size of this blanket?

Hello 4594224, the designer of this pattern stated the finished size is approximately 36 by 40. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

I had made 4 of these blanket as baby presents. One thing that made it hard for me that knit left handed.. I any tell if there website with patterens for people tha knit left handed.. thanks connie H

I have taught knitting for years and recommend Continental [pick] knitting this is especially good for left handed knitters. You use your hands equally so you don't knit 'left handed'. One knitter that was extremely left handed needed to put a mirror up to instructional pictures to see how she would use them.
