Had two spend toooo long at hospital in the city today while number 1 husband's post surgical wounds were assessed for potential skin grafts. Thrift store nearby with needles and wonderful yarn -- the stash increased (sigh). Found this pattern in my saved pattern - reminds me, why can I no longer find the save button??? - decided to knit it and did. Had time to finish it and love it... shall try to get photos to post of some of these projects... started a second one ... not saying anyone was running late but 2 1/2 hours to knit a really beautiful scarf and then time to knit almost half of another (as well as shop for yarn and needles) between appointment time and actual time ... going to try to knit a sweater next visit

This is a simple cowl pattern, made by holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together, or using bulky weight yarn. However, it's not an infinity scarf that is twisted like an infinity sign, this one just goes straight up, in fact pattern says be careful not to twist when you join the foundation row.

Hi Ealizabethane 1862 886, the link has been updated. Sorry for the inconvenience. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Thank you so much, it would have been very disappointing to lose this pattern.

Another beginning knitter cowl that would be easy for the first time knitter and look so wonderful when finished not exactly a first-timer, but looking forward to knitting this one as soon as I find the yarn
