Little Knit Christmas Tree

Little Knit Christmas Tree

From the blogger: "Here's a little project to get into the holiday spirit — and to create some nice Christmas decorations for your home. It's a small Christmas tree, knitted flat and in garter stitch with a few bobbles. It starts with a provisional cast on and is finished with a three needle bind-off. It's a great project to use some yarn left overs and small enough to knit in one session. The pattern contains written instructions for the tree in two sizes."

That's the best little knitted Christmas tree I have ever seen! I want to make one of these for my office this year. I like the way she displayed them, but they could also be decorated with beads for ornaments and metallic cord or bright yarn to drape around for garland. I don't know what to use for a topper, though. Any ideas?

I'm definitely going to make one (or more) of these this year. My cat is a stinker so I can't have a fake OR real tree. So these will be my Christmas tree this year!
