Chunky Knitted Snowman
Chunky Knitted Snowman

"This is a simple chunky knitted snowman pattern that is so much fun to knit. Since you use chunky yarn and extra large knitting needles, it makes this project much quicker to knit. You knit the snowman body with size 35 circular knitting needles and you use chunky or bulky yarn. This pattern is for the snowman's body and head, hat, nose, and arms. This snowman stands around 2 1/2 feet. This is perfect for Christmas decor or to give as a gift!"

I did knit it it did not turn out I suspect a few things are wrong with the pattern first one is that the designer may intend it to be worked in the round no where in the actual pattern does it specify this information secondly the designer never actually specifies which yarn or how much to use looking at the pictures it appears to be single strand however that is not sufficient to complete the project in the picture she does say chunky yarn however some people refer to chunky yarn as actual chunky yarn super bulky yarn and even jumbo weight yarn this way She does reference arm knitting several times but it is definitely not arm knit but the other projects she mentions are arm knit I just came into balls of Wool Ease thick and quick in fisherman color I think I will try it again withRead More the yarn doubled to see if I can make this pattern work or use her pattern as a base to write my own pattern for it

I'm making this just now. The needle size listed on this website is incorrect, it is a us size 19 not a 19mm, so it should read us 19/15mm not the US 35/19mm.

This guy is SO cute. I love that it's simple and clean looking, so it'll go with any decor.
