Knitting Needle Size9 or 5.5 mm, Circular Knitting Needles, Double-Pointed Knitting Needles (DPNs)

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Gauge1 stitches, 2 rows, 3 inches. stockinette stitch

If you want to make one for baby, simply follow the instructions for the Red Fox Hat (without the ears, of course)!

This is the perfect pattern for anyone starting to use double pointed needles or circular needles for the first time. It's a good change from rectangles and squares and the pattern is easy to follow, AND you would wind up with a classical and stylish hat when you are finished!
