The Loom Knit Bun Hat is a great way to participate in the hottest trend in the yarn community. Since this knit bun hat is made using a loom, you don't need to be an experienced knitter in order to complete the pattern. Before you know it, you will be able to throw your hair up in a bun and not have to worry about your head getting cold when you walk out the door. With this free knitting pattern, you can proudly wear your favorite hairstyle while staying warm and cozy on those cold winter days. The hole in the hat will stretch when you pass your hair through it, just like a hair tie, so this adorable loom knit hat will work regardless of the thickness of your hair.

I have never used a loom to knit before even though I have a set of 3 in my cupboard, until now I haven't seem a loom pattern that has interested me but I really fancy having a go at the bun hat as my daughter often wears a bun I need her hair. The pattern is very easy to read and there are close by photos showing how to use the loom so I shall have a try.

I have a friend who has been asking for a bun hat and this is the first pattern I've seen for knitting. I do not loom knit though. Is there a way to convert this pattern to a standard knit pattern?
