This is possibly silly to say but I have seen adult and kid ponchos but I have never seen a baby one. I think if this was done all in white it could be a stunning piece for a christening instead of a blanket or shawl. You could even add a bit of ribbon along the end of it.

I am trying to finish the 5 hour poncho with great difficulty. I need help understanding row 27 difficulty. I do not understand the instructions for row 27. I am a beginner knitter. I need help to move on.

why am I having so much trouble printing the 5 hr poncho?

Hi robertalemire 5360772, Please click through to the link and print the pattern from the original post. If you highlight the entire pattern, you should be able to print it from your computer. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

For those who would still like to knit this poncho. I figured out the errors and based my corrections on the total number of stitches at the end of each row. I will give you the corrected rows and knit the rest of the pattern as given. Here are the corrected rows: row 6: K3-*K2-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 48 stitches row 10: K3-*K3-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 62 stitches row 14: K3-*K4-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 72 stitches row 18: K3-*K5-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 90 stitches row 22: K3-*K6-inc 1* (14 times)-K3 104 stitches I hope this helps.

This is the CUTEST little poncho, but there are definitely errors in the pattern!!! I have tried and tried and TRIED to make this adorable garment and it is impossible. Please, please, please check them and repost correct pattern!!! Thank you!!

There is definitely something missing from this pattern. What about finishing this? It has a provisional crocheted cast on but does not say how to finish it off. Disappointed to see the other comments and no response from Allfreeknitting. I was really hoping to do this pattern this week.

It is not the responsibility of All Free Knitting to correct the errors in another designers pattern. If you believe there are errors or problems with the pattern, you should be leaving the comments and questions for the designer on the site for the pattern, not here where the designer is unlikely to see them and may not even realize there is a problem.

I Looking for a baby jacket knitting on needle 4 have sombody i nice patronnen

I have tried 3 times to print off this pattern. It says it is a knit pattern yet I keep getting a crochet version. I do not crochet so would like to get it in the knit formation. Can you help????

Hi Amber, Thanks for your message. We suggest that you go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. Another option is to highlight exactly what you would like to be printed. Then, select print from your dropdown menu, and change your print range from all to selection.

I really this is so pretty and would like the pattern. Can you help? or is it not available anymore? thank you

Hi Roxie! Thanks for letting us know about the broken link. We've updated the pattern, so you should be able to access it now. Thanks again, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Editors of AllFreeKnitting

I would like this pattern. Can you please send it to me.

For some reason I do not seem to be able to get this pattern. Can you email it to me?

I would like to copy this pattern to make for my gggrandaughter, but I get a note saying the pattern is no longer available. Can you help? thank you

I have been knitting for 49 years, and was always taught to knit what the pattern says. This is the most frustrating, directions I have ever dealt with. You should take this off your website.

yep, i certainly agree !! no way can i make this one.. looks wonderful though ...

I am not new to knitting, and I am having big problems with this pattern. I believe there are some mistakes. It's a shame, because it's cute and I'd love to make it.

I consider myself an advanced beginner. However, I found this to be quite tricky. It would be helpful if the # of stiches were made available for each row. And there is no way this takes 5 hours. Perhaps 5 weeks, 5 days and then 5 hours. Help!

amen to this ! i looked at the pattern.. and i can follow directions.. but.. cannot figure this one out .... :/

Help I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong with Row 8 and 9. If I knit 2 tog and repeat from* ending K3 I will only end up with 16 stitches not 48 stitches . what am I doing wrong?

No sizes are given.

What age child does this fit?
