$5 in Paris

By: Anna Peck-Maliszewski from Knitting Up a Storm

Knitting a comfy, cozy sweater doesnt have to be a major investment. The $5 in Paris sweater is the perfect pattern for a knitter who just wants to make a simple sweater without a hassle. This easy knit sweater pattern is a top down pattern, so you can easily shape it as you knit. Bold stripes make this comfortable sweater a garment youll want to wear again and again.

pattern is not in very good directions

Nice classic pattern and who doesn't like an easy-to-knit sweater for $5? I think I'd do it in a solid color or a tweed as I'm not a fan of horizontal stripes.

Have not made it yet but I do like making top down sweaters. I will probably not go with the stripes but a gradual change of color since I have the yarn for that. It will make for an interesting sweater. The instructions look well written. Thank you.

I made this sweater in one color , it came out perfect.

This sweater has a look of the Apache dancers of old to it. There is a real appeal to it, but I think I would have to knit it in red and black stripes as a salute to those Apache dancers we used to enjoy in the day in Paris - says she with Piaf tunes and dancers whirling in her memory

I really like this design!
