Jumbo Pineapple Bag

By: Franklin from The Panopticon

You’ll impress even strangers with the Jumbo Pineapple Bag. People won’t be able to stop themselves from taking a closer look at this vintage knitting pattern, and with good cause. This pineapple bag makes for an interesting visual, though this knit bag pattern is easier to make than it looks. And since the pineapple is the universal symbol of hospitality, this unique purse makes an excellent housewarming gift for both family members and friends. You’ll be surprised at just how easy it really is to knit up this funky pattern.

What an incredibly unique bag! The pineapple look is so interesting. It'd be a conversation starter for sure!

Is there a crochet pattern for this ? Don't do knitting. Thank you.

Where in the UK can I purchase this wool/silk to make the pineapple bag

I had a quick go at the patterned part of this pineapple just to see what it would look like but mine is very much a 2 dimensional design! Any help on where I'm going wrong and why mine doesn't look 3d please?

Carolcooley you can change the font size on your screen by holding down the control key which is bottom left of your key board and at the same time press the + plus sign or you can press the - minus if you get it too big. Hope this helps

I would like to know if there is a small version such as for a Christmas tree decoration to get the feel of this pattern. The font was sadly too sm all for me to read. Many knitters are not so young but this was impossible for me. Good luck to whomever tackles this challenging fruit! I could not email the website so please pass on comments, thank you.
