Tweedy Vest In Garter Stitch

"An elegant women's short-sleeved vest with a collar garter-stitched for texture and knitting ease. A turn-down collar and a contrast border give this top a touch of class. The vest is worked in 3 pieces from the bottom up. You can make it buttonless or buttoned at your choice. You will need worsted medium-weight wool yarn 4-ply to make this outfit mostly in knit stitches, with a little bit of purling, k2tog and yo stitches. "

Easy

Knitting Needle Size8 or 5 mm

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Not sure what country this pattern originates in, but there is confusing information right from the beginning of the pattern, in the materials list. They reference worsted weight yarn for the pattern but also refer to 4 ply yarn, which is not the same thing, worsted yarn is 4 weight not 4 ply, worsted is 10 ply yarn, so I think north american knitters should use these patterns with caution, since materials could so easily be confused based on materials named.
