This Indian Summer Knitted Top is a wonderful transitional free knitting pattern that can go from summer to fall with ease. With breezy, wide-open arms and a soft cream color, this knitted top is perfect for adding a layer when the evenings get chilly. This knit shirt uses a soft cotton blend yarn, so it's lovely and durable. However, you could substitute yarn however you like to make this women's knit top exactly the way you like it. You'll love the drapey feel and texture of this easy knitting pattern for sure.

I dont think that I could get used to how big those armholes are! I would have to wear a tee shirt underneath this for moisture control and probably for modesty too. I see the model is wearing a shirt underneath so maybe that was the idea behind this so you could get a glimpse of what is underneath?

This sweater is going on my to-do list. So simple, but still stylish. I love the loose fit and the oversized sleeves. This will look great with jeans. It would also make a great cover up when things start to cool down on a summer evening. I think I may make a few in different colours.

I love this. Simple, but with just enough design to catch the eye. Adding it to my list!

Super cute, in my opinion. I think it would be really cute in blue to wear with jeans or in a tweed yarn with slacks. I just wish it was longer. I'm pretty tall and almost always need to lengthen the body.

I understand that all patterns can be lengthened. If there is a yarn shop close to you, I would print out the pattern and then check with them!

so many colour possibilities - and option to wear with skirts or pants or jeans - great fun and looks to be quickly knit - great!

The email called this "A top that is ACTUALLY cute." Really?
