If you want to try a free knitting pattern that's fabulous for in-between seasons, take a look at this Autumn Elegance Knit Jacket. This intermediate knitting pattern is knitted from cuff-to-cuff and creates a smooth, stylish autumn jacket that'll keep you warm. While this knit jacket pattern looks demure and lovely in brown, you could also jazz it up with some hot pink or purple yarn for a spunkier look. Whatever your take on this jacket, it'll become your go-to autumn accessory. Just customize this jacket knitting pattern to the desired size and color and have at it.

didn't realize that I had already found this pattern lol -- was just looking at it and thinking how smart it would look if knit a little longer ( like jackets and sweaters about to hip-length) - - and perhaps in blues or greys... and with horn or bone buttons -- have to head to the city and search for yarn...

I don't know if I would call this jacket demure, it is striking and would be stylish with dress pants or skirt great for the office or a lunch date - even dinner - and would dress up a pair of jeans. Come to think of it, one could wear it as an indoor jacket in winter -- the perfect jacket another must knit
