  • Deborah Norville Collection Cotton Soft Silk Multis for Premier Yarns (78% cotton, 22% silk; 70g/126 yds) 955-02 Azalea Hill (MC) – 3 (4, 4, 5, 6) balls
  • Deborah Norville Collection Cotton Soft Silk for Premier Yarns (78% cotton, 22% silk; 85g/154 yds) 950-04 Fuchsia Flower (CC) – 1 ball, all sizes
  • US Size 7 (4.5 mm) straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry Needle, stitch holders

 

Measurements:
Small (Medium, Large, 1X, 2X)

Bust: 33½ (36¼, 39, 44¾, 47½)"
Length: 22 (22½, 23½, 24, 24¾)"

beg=beginning
CC=contrast color
dec’d=decreased
inc’d=increased
k=knit
k2tog=knit 2 sts together (1 st dec’d)
MC=main color
meas=measures
p=purl
patt=pattern
psso=pass slipped st(itches) over
rem=remaining
RS=right side
sl=slip
ssk=slip 2 sts, one at a time to RH ndl, slip them back to LH ndl and knit together through their back loops (1 st dec’d)
sts=stitches
WS=wrong side
yo=yarn over

Instructions:

STITCH GUIDE
Trellis Lace (multiple of 6 sts + 5)
Row 1 (RS): K4, * yo, sl 1-k2tog-psso, yo, k3; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K1, * yo, sl 1-k2tog-psso, yo, k3; rep from * to last 4 sts, yo, sl 1-k2tog-psso, yo, k1.
Row 4: Purl.
Rep Rows 1-4 for patt.

 

TANK

Back
With CC, cast on 71 (77, 83, 95, 101) sts. Knit 8 rows. Switch to MC. Purl 1 row. Rep Rows 1-4 of Trellis Lace Patt until Back meas 14½ (14½, 15, 15, 15½)" from cast-on edge, ending with WS row.

Shape Armholes
Bind off 5 (6, 7, 8, 8) sts at beg of next 2 rows – 61 (65, 69, 79, 85) sts rem.
Dec row (RS): K1, k2tog, work in patt to last 3 sts, ssk, k1 – 2 sts dec’d.
Next row: Purl.
Rep these 2 rows, 4 (4, 4, 7, 7) more times – 51 (55, 59, 63, 69) sts rem.
Work even in patt until Back meas 7½ (8, 8½, 9, 9¼)" from Armhole bind off, ending with WS row. Bind off all sts.

Front
Work as for Back until Front meas 3½ (4, 4½, 5, 5¼)" from Armhole bind off, ending with WS row.

Shape Neck
Work across 16 (18, 20, 22, 25) sts in patt, attach new ball of yarn and bind off center 19 sts, work in patt across rem sts – 16 (18, 20, 22, 25) sts rem each shoulder. Place Left Shoulder sts on holder.

Right Shoulder
Purl a WS row.
Dec row: K1, k2tog, work in patt to end – 1 st dec’d.
Next row: Purl.
Rep these 2 rows, 4 more times – 11 (13, 15, 17, 20) sts rem. Work even in patt until Front meas 7½ (8, 8½, 9, 9¼)" from Armhole bind off, ending with WS row. Bind off all sts.

Left Shoulder
Purl a WS row.
Dec row: Work in patt to last 3 sts, ssk, k1 – 1 st dec’d.
Rep these 2 rows, 4 more times – 11 (13, 15, 17, 20) sts rem. Work even in patt until Front meas 7½ (8, 8½, 9, 9¼)" from Armhole bind off, ending with WS row. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Sew Right Shoulder seam.

Neck Edging
With CC and RS facing, beg at Left Front Neck edge, pick up and knit 64 sts evenly around Front Neck edge, and 30 sts along Back Neck edge, being sure to leave 11 (13, 15, 17, 20) sts unworked from the Back Left Shoulder. Knit 4 rows. Bind off all sts, kwise, from the WS.
Sew Left Shoulder seam.

Armhole Edging
With CC and RS facing, pick up and knit 64 (68, 72, 76, 78) sts evenly around Armhole edge. Knit 4 rows.
Bind off all sts, kwise, from the WS.
Sew Side seams. Weave in ends and block.
