To me, the "mean" comments are made out of ignorance...not knowing they can make the top longer and change the colors. If they knew this I think they wouldn't be making "ugly" comments. It is simply....change what you don't like of the sweater or don't make it at all and how about keeping the mean comments to yourself.

The model is a redhead. The copper colors were chosen to highlight her personal coloring and I think were well chosen. The detailing in this sweater is lovely, especially in the bottom ribbing. Being 72 yrs old I'd probably skip the midriff baring and even make the sleeves an inch or 2 lower, but I love the wider neck. This will probably wind up being my go-to pattern!

Your model is a -little to big for that top it gives off the wrong message make sure the top is big enough next time ok. Other than that love it!

The model actually isn't too big for the top....it is a midriff top and comes to the correct part of her body. And it doesn't give off any message other than it is cute and for any one who can wear it and look good it. Most older women probably would choose not to wear it however that is a personal choice and not really something others need to comment on. If one doesn't like the length.....add rows to it, not hard at all.

Ugly! The colors are hideous not to mention it looks like the model is wearing her little sister's top.

I like these comments if even if i totaly disagree, It gives me an idea of what people will think when i wear it. Spread your thoughts!

If one doesn't like the colors change them...they have nothing to do with the top itself and her coloring is perfect for the chosen colors. As for the top....it is designed to come midriff and doesn't look like her little sister's top.

I like it...I'd change the yarn and the colors, but it's a simple top....make it longer and you could have a top over leggings....

ugh!! so ugly!!! I would never wear it let alone spend any time making it.!!sorry!

I am surprised by the mean comments. You make any pattern your own by picking your own colors and sizing it how you want it. I love the simplicity of this top.
