I am absolutely in love with this scarf. I'm so glad that giant scarves are coming back into style because I'm obsessed. Also, the yarn used doesn't give this scarf that standard garter stitch look. All of the beauty of an "advanced stitch" scarf with none of the hassle. Gotta love it.

Seems like an awful lot of yarn for 1 scarf, I love the look of it but I'm short and I think the scarf would overwhelm me based on its size. I'm going to try it and see how it goes.

Did you try it? How did it work out? I'm short, too, and stay away from longer, bulkier scarves for the reason you mentioned. I stick with lacier, lighter scarves that hug my neck and shoulders and don't hang down. Would love to see a picture if you knitted it. Thanks.

simple indeed, but looks great when worn - adds flair to any outfit easy to knit as the pattern does not require careful attention but is easily memorized and can be as long as the knitter chooses to make it. I particularly like the way it looks with hats - great addition to the wardrobe with a couple of options in the manner it can be worn thinking of knitting it again this time as an infinity scarf
